ROMA grazier Rob Brown, Dalmally, is enjoying a much smoother ride in his Toyota Hilux dual cab after having a set of Aussie SuperSprings fitted Mr Brown was approached by Black Toyota Roma to trial the new springs five months ago and says the benefits have definitely been noticeable. He runs about 6 00 head of breeders on his 9300ha property Dalmally, 35km south of Roma, and uses his Hilux for work both on and off the property.

Mr Brown said since the Aussie SuperSprings were installed, he's noticed his Hilux is running much better on the road.

"We cart a bit of stockfeed around in the back of the ute and sometimes we'd have up to three quarters of a tonne in weight in there," he said. "Before we got these springs the front of the ute would be up in the air every time we put that sort of weight in. These springs have done away with that problem."
"I've also noticed they have really taken the bounce out of the trip because the Hilux can be a bit light on the road sometimes. "Aussie SuperSprings are designed with unique tapered blades and patented anti-friction shackles to provide stability regardless of weight or load distribution. They act in parallel with the existing spring pack, snaring the total load on the wheel.

This design has the effect of progressively stiffening the main suspension throughout its total travel. Aussie SuperSprings are designed to counteract the effect of lean and drift when cornering by providing progressive support to all types of vehicles. John Hays, Black Toyota Roma, said the

Aussie SuperSprings had been selling well since they hit the market around five months ago. He said the main comment from users was that vehicles fitted with the springs had a greater load carrying ability and handled better, particularly on dirt roads. "A lot of people say they really take the roll out of vehicles and make traveling along dirt roads a lot smoother," he sad. "They are excellent for people who want to carry that tonne around all the time, which a lot of people do carting around things like lick blocks and fertilizers."

Mr Hays said the springs were easy to install and took less than half an hour in the workshop. "The design of the springs is so simple it's hard to believe they work so well," he added. "They are just a really simple invention that works extremely well."

"Everyone I've spoken to has been very happy with them."
